Meeting-up-4

If you’re anything like me, and many other mums I know sometimes Biff, Chip & Kipper and their magic key can become a little boring! That is nothing against the Oxford Reading Tree, as their books are excellent for developing children’s reading skills & have obviously been designed to build on children’s vocabulary. However, admittedly, reading about other children and their adventures is fun … for both children and parents!

So if you fancy adding to your reading collection but sticking with the curriculum, Usborne has developed a reading programme that will do just that!

Many schools band books by colour to help children choose the right books for their reading ability. For example, the simplest books are Band 1, which is pink, and the top level is Band 11, which is lime.

Find out more about the Book Banks, Guided Reading, Usborne Beginners and much more!

There is also a great offer on Usborne’s First Reading Library (perfect for little ones who are just starting to read)

(Only available until stock last!)
